1st Annual Conga Caliente International Film Festival
The Conga Caliente International Film Festival brings together the most outstanding Latino filmmakers in the world. The festival highlights not only the filmmaker’s talent, but also makes their creativity available to the international film markets of the world.
The film festival will officially open on November 5, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Al Lopez Park, Tampa. Bring your blanket and lawn chairs to enjoy one of the world’s most popular Latino films with your entire family. The opening night film is a free public screening. Additional screenings for the CCIFF will begin on Sunday evening at a local Tampa theater and will continue on Monday and Tuesday. In addition to a collection of Latino films (Spanish with English subtitles), you will want to attend “Conversations With…” and the official closing night film where The Audience Favorite Award will be presented.
