This year is the first annual Conga Caliente International Film Festival. It was created to bring together the most outstanding Latino filmmakers in the world. The festival highlights not only the filmmaker’s talent, but also makes their creativity available to the international film markets of the world.

National Hispanic American Educational Fund

Helping hard working Hispanic American students with college grants.

The mission of the National Hispanic American Educational Fund (NHAEF) is to provide opportunities and funding for educational programs and/or vocational training for Hispanic Americans.

Student Grants

The top students in each category will receive sponsored college grants

The opening night film is a free public screening. Additional screenings for the CCIFF will begin on Sunday evening at a local Tampa theater and will continue on Monday and Tuesday. In addition to a collection of Latino films (Spanish with English subtitles), you will want to attend “Conversations With…” and the official closing night film where The Audience Favorite Award will be presented.

1st Annual Conga Caliente International Film Festival

The Conga Caliente International Film Festival brings together the most outstanding Latino filmmakers in the world.  The festival highlights not only the filmmaker’s talent, but also makes their creativity available to the international film markets of the world.
The film festival will officially open on November 5, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Al Lopez Park, Tampa.  Bring your blanket and lawn chairs to enjoy one of the world’s most popular Latino films with your entire family.   The opening night film is a free public screening.   Additional screenings for the CCIFF will begin on Sunday evening at a local Tampa theater and will continue on Monday and Tuesday.  In addition to a collection of Latino films (Spanish with English subtitles), you will want to attend “Conversations With…” and the official closing night film where The Audience Favorite Award will be presented.
